Hi Robert. I’ve been following your blog for a little while, so, time for a comment. Well done on the smart race – can’t be easy to PB in Central Park with those hills. Also, belated congrats on the 2:XX:XX marathon – something I’ve never done. Wish I had when it was possible!

I saw you in race corral at the race. When I saw you (wearing a red hat, and running tights!) I knew to move back and out of your way!. I would have said hello but you were in front of me. Anyway I looked for you at the end, and when I didn’t spot you, figured you had run away to run some more. Little did I know! Great race btw!

Great job this morning! Funny with me the problem is the opposite. I sometimes start my races too slowly and then I am trying like crazy to catch up.
